Using state-of-the-art technology, Alpha Caption's friendly and knowledgeable staff provides our clients with top quality service. Because our captioning and subtitling services are performed in-house from start to finish - from transcription to encoding - we are able to offer our clients fast turnarounds, strict multi-level quality control, and extremely competitive prices.

Pop-on Captions

Captions pop onto the screen in block format and, at your request, are carefully placed so as to not interfere with graphics, screen text, etc. Captions are meticulously matched to the spoken word, and descriptive text is inserted to enhance the experience of the deaf and hard of hearing. Studies have consistently shown the pop-on style closed captioning is preferred.

$8 - $12 per video minute ($100 minimum)

Roll-up Captions

This style is primarily used in a single speaker situation. Captions roll onto the screen one line at a time, typically two or three lines in depth. Captions are meticulously matched to the spoken word and, at your request, are carefully places so as to not interfere with graphics, screen text, etc.

$7 - $10 per video minute ($100 minimum)

Subtitling/DVD Authoring

We also offer complete subtitling and DVD authoring services for all types of programming. Share your English or Spanish project with audiences around the world. We offer a multitude of formats.

Transcription

Our highly trained staff can produce a verbatim transcript of virtually any project. Our quality standards enable you to use our transcripts for any number of applications such as foreign translation, continuity, reference, viewer purchase, etc.

$3 - $6 per audio minute ($50 minimum)

All Pricing Includes:

- Set up, captioning, and encoding of one captioned master tape or NLE file.
- Complementary transcript e-mailed to you at your request.
